Hanukkah Forever® Stamp
First-Day-of-Issue Dedication Ceremony
Thursday, Sept. 19, 2024
11 a.m. EDT
Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum
575 3rd Street, NW
Washington, DC 20001
You are invited to join the United States Postal Service and the Lillian and Albert Small Capital Jewish Museum in a joyous dedication of the brand-new Hanukkah stamp for 2024. The holiday, also called the Festival of Lights, is a time to celebrate miracles large and small. Hanukkah is observed for eight days and nights by Jews around the world each winter.
Be a part of the special dedication event! In the beautiful atrium of DC's Jewish community museum, history will be made at the first day of issue celebration. Music, activities, and an opportunity to view the museum's exhibitions make the event perfect for families and stamp enthusiasts alike. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to be present for the unveiling of America's new holiday-themed stamp.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. Museum doors open at 11 a.m. for public entrance and close at 6 p.m. Please register below to share if you plan to join us. Your RSVP helps to give us an anticipated attendee count.
