The United States Postal Service hosts the Bioluminescent Life Stamps First-Day-of-Issue Dedication Ceremony on Thursday, February, 22, 2018 at Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce, FL.
The stamps will be dedicated by the Postal Service’s Chief Human Resources Officer and Executive Vice President, Jeffrey C. Williamson.
Dr. Edith Widder, an internationally renowned deep-sea explorer, founder of the Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA), and photographer of several of the stamps, will share her research findings about the fascinating world of bioluminescent life.
The dedication ceremony is free and open to the public.
